July 25, 2009 (Saturday) - Ever Gotesco Ortigas, Pasig City
August 15, 2009 (Saturday) - Ever Gotesco Ortigas, Pasig City
September 26, 2009 (Saturday) - Ever Gotesco Commonwealth, Q.C.
October 24, 2009 (Saturday) - Ever Gotesco Commonwealth, Q.C.
November 28-29, 2009 (Saturday-Sunday) - 2009 Philippine Student and Open Scrabble Championship, Ever Gotesco Commonwealth, Quezon City

Format: Straight KOTH (King of the Hill)
All One-day Leg is good for 8-rated games and for the Two-day tournament is good for 16-rated games
The WYSC Qualifying Round and 2009 Philippine Championship will be divided into Two Divisions - Open and Youth (Elementary & High School Students)
All One-day Leg is Open Division or open to all without restrictions. Any player can join any leg or all of the legs
Dictionary: Collins Scrabble Tournament & Club Word List 2007
Challenge Rule: 5 points penalty per valid word challenged
Scrabble Sets will be provided by NASCAP for the duration of the tournament (please bring your clocks or timers)
Registration Fee per Leg (One-day only): Php 200.00 (open) / Php 100.00 (students)
Prizes for One-day Leg - Gift Certificates and tokens

***The WYSC Qualifying Round is open to all students aged 16 years old and below (as of May 31, 2009). Top Prize for the Student (also same for the Open Champion) will win a return economy air fare and entry fee to the International Causeway Tournament in Johor Bahru, Malaysia this December 2-6, 2009. And the Top 10 Students will represent the Philippines for the 4th WYSC to be held on December 8-10, 2009 in Zon Regency Hotel, Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
